Hi <3 welcome to the easy breezy poncho pattern!
There are two different ponchos in this pattern. Both versions use the same lace stitch, but the construction is slightly different between the two. So choose the one you like the look of better or make both :)

This is meant to be an easy and breezy pattern. The construction is straight forward and the lace stitch is easy to memorize. It’s a great pattern for beginners and people who like some mindless knitting!

OVERVIEW:
Sizes: 1/2 (3/4) 5/6 (7/8) 9/10 (Bust sizes 76 CM - 150 CM)
Needles: U10.5 (6.5 mm)
Gauge: 12 stitches = 10cm on US 10.5 (6.5 mm) needles in lace pattern after blocking
Yarn:
For poncho version 1 I used Sandnes Garn Tynn Line (50 grams = 240 yards/220 meters). I held the yarn double to make a DK weight. I used 5 balls total for the size 1/2.
For poncho version 2 I used Knitting For Olive Pure Silk (50 grams = 273 yards/250 meters). I held the yarn double to make a DK weight. I used 3.5 balls total for the size 1/2.
Any DK weight yarn can be used, however, different fibers will produce slightly different results. I recommend plant based fibers for this project especially if you want to make this poncho for hot weather or as a swimsuit coverup. Be sure to check your gauge no matter what yarn you choose.
