I wanted to create an easy tear free knit hat for new knitters. I have been encountering a lot of new knitters recently and they all want to create “something useful”. This hat pattern is my attempt to fill that need.

Written mostly plain speak English instead of knitters pattern code, it is a quick knit that is easy for the newbie/novice to understand.

This hat will be a lovely warm addition to any teen or adult’s winter hat drawer. It covers the ears and a bit of the forehead nicely when it is pulled down or it can be work off the forehead and will accommodate a bun or a ponytail.
