Worthy of Note
These easy hand warmers are worked sideways and seamed, creating the thumbhole as you join the work. Always slip the first st of each row purl-wise with yarn in front.


Kelbourne Woolens Germantown (100% wool; 220 yds/100g skein): natural 105, 1 skein.
18 sts and 26 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Welt Stripe Pattern, after blocking.
1 set US 7 (4.5 mm) DPNs.
Check your gauge and adjust needle size(s) accordingly if necessary.
Stitch marker, tapestry needle.
7” (18 cm) circumference, 8” (20.5 cm) length.
3-Needle bind off or sew-as-you-go bind off.
