This pattern is a simple mug cosy with a button closure. It is worked in Treble Crochet with a border in Double Crochet. The stitches are simple but the border makes it look interesting.

You can use any yarn for this pattern that you have available. It uses very little yarn and is good for using up scraps. If you use a thicker /thinner yarn you may have to adjust the starting chain. I haven’t included a gauge or yardage because it uses very little yarn and your gauge is not important as long as you are consistent.
