A very simple scarf and quick knit. Fits children and adults.
Various widths.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Length: 50”/130cm long or as desired.
Width: 5”/12cm wide (31 sts); 9”/23cm wide for 51 sts version). Fits an adult (one wrap around the neck) or child (two wraps).

YARN
Approximately 240 yds/220 m of any worsted weight yarn. I used one skein of Briggs & Little Softspun in Bubblegum (colour by Fleece Artist) to make the 31 stitches version. To be safe, have at least 2 skeins to make the wider variations.

Suggested for solid, tweedy, or lightly variegated yarns.

Bulky weight yarn variation at pattern end.

GAUGE
Not crucial, but you may want to swatch for size. Pictured scarf is approximately 5 stitches per inch in ribbing with size 7 (4.5 mm) needles.

NEEDLES
1 set of size 6 (4mm) needles or one size smaller than smallest needle size recommended for yarn.
1 set of size 7 (4.5mm) needles or smallest needle size recommended for yarn.
Tapestry or yarn needle.

NOTE One end of the scarf shown omits Section B.
