This snug-fitting beanie is reversible and has options for a single or double (fold-over) brim. The stripey colourwork is simple enough for beginners whilst keeping the knitting varied and the hat unique. The pattern comes in sizes Baby (Toddler, Child, Adult S, M, L), making it ideal for family and friends of all ages - as well as yourself, of course!

You can buy a hat kit from Ro Dyeworks or assemble the materials and tools yourself:
- Yarn: Aran-weight yarn in two colours
-Baby / Toddler: 58 m of each colour or less if doing a single brim
- Child: 75 m of each colour or less

- Adult sizes: 83 m of each colour or less*

  • 4.5mm (US 7) circular knitting needles OR size to obtain gauge of 19 sts & 25 rows per 10x10cm square
  • wool needle / tapestry needle
  • 8 stitch markers, of which 1 should be easily distinguishable from the rest. (You can easily make your own using small yarn hoops.)
  • pair of scissors
