Easy Peasy Summer Tee

Easy Peasy is Önling’s range of basic knitting patterns, made in a Nordic design and written in a simple, beginnerfriendly language – without any abbreviations. This design is a nice summer tee with pretty details in both rib hems and raglan seams – a tee that you can use all summer. We have knitted ours in light summer yarn, but you may easily use wool yarns and use it all year round.

The fit is oversize, i.e., with a positive ease of 10-15 cm / 4-6 inches, the body is rather short with standard armhole height and wide, short or long, sleeves finished with a rib hem. The length of both body and sleeves may easily be adjusted to design your very own version of the tee.

Knit it in our 100% Lyocell yarn, Önling No 14, or in our Everyday Kit, Önling No 12 and Önling No 13.

Designed by Katrine Hannibal for Önling.

The tee has an ‘oversize’ fit, which means that the design includes a positive ease of approx. 10-15 cm / 4-6 inches. I.e., if your own chest measurement is 95 cm / 37½ inches, you will need size M, which measures 105 cm / 41¼ inches.

Procedure
The tee is worked from the top down, increasing at the 4 raglan stitches. This will enable you to try on the tee as you go and adjust it to fit you perfectly. It is worked in the round in stockinette stitch. The yoke are then divided into body and sleeves, which are finished separately.
