This pattern is super simple and sure to become one of your favorites! This pattern is good for beginners who are looking to challenge themselves a little as well as more experienced crocheters.

This beanie hat has a ribbed texture and is worked using dc, sc, fpdc (front post double crochet), and bpdc (back post double crochet). Instructions are provided in the pattern for the post stitches, but you can find lots of tutorials and videos online if you need more help.

The finished hat measures 22” around and 8” tall with a good bit of stretch and will fit most teens and adults. I have used all sorts of different worsted/aran weight yarns for this pattern, and the hat turns out great every time.
