This easy-to-knit ribbed vest pattern is great for both beginner and more experienced knitters, looking to make themselves a cute and easy summer top.

Great for daytime, evening, or even doing some yoga in!

There is a lot of stretch to the fabric due to the ribbed pattern, which also makes it super comfy to wear.

The tension square is knitted in stocking stitch with 3mm needles.

The pattern really doesn’t require much yarn so makes for a great ‘scrap yarn’ project.

The top is knitted as all one piece, with the sides of the knitting sewn together and this seam will sit down the centre of the back of the top.

You will just need 2.5mm and 3mm needles, plus a darning needle to sew up the top and fix the straps to the back.

When lying flat, from top of straps to the bottom of the top and side to side in the middle section of the top, it will measure approx.:
S: 38cm high x 32cm wide
M: 44cm high x 36cm wide
L: 47cm high x 39.5cm wide

This really is a great pattern and I’m so happy to share it with you all.

I have more simple and fun tops available in my pattern store.

Happy knitting!
