This wrap is the perfect one to try if you want to knit your first lace wrap that both goes quickly and explains how to add a shawl edging to a wrap. The main stitch is a very easy one, and therefore, works up very quickly. The edging, which gives it that wonderful look, is not a difficult edging, but some attention does have to be paid while knitting it. There are instructions contained within the pattern for insuring that your edging doesn’t “bunch” up at the corners.

The pattern is both charted and written out line by line.

Skill Level: Beginner + - Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of lace knitting)

The yarn used in the sample is Shalimar Yarn’s Breathless in colorway, Sonoma; and it is knit on a size #7 needle. The finished size at the widest and longest point is 24 X 76 (although there are very simple ways contained within the pattern to make it smaller should you wish to.
