These simple and easy top-down socks are fast to knit, super comfortable with their lovely cushioned heel, and they let the beautiful colour patterns of the yarns do most of the work for you!
They knit up to fit standard Women’s Medium size, but can be easily adapted for smaller or larger sizes.I

For yet more convenience, this pattern is written in two versions, Version A if you are using double pointed needles, and Version B if you are using the Magic Loop technique on one long circular needle.

Materials:
100g of sock yarn
1 set of 4 double pointed 2.5mm needles (Version A) or a 80-120cm long 2.5mm circular needle (Version B)
2 small stitch markers
1 tapestry / sewing needle

Dimensions:
The instructions provided are for standard Women’s Medium size (5-7), but smaller or larger sizes can be achieved by knitting shorter or longer leg and foot sections. Please note that this may affect the total amount of yarn required. The dimensions of each part of the socks are provided in the relevant pattern sections.

Tension / gauge:
17st x 21 rows over 2”/ 5cm using 2.5mm needles. The tension is not critical for this project, as socks can easily be stretched if they are too small (knitted too tightly), or used for a bigger size if they are too big (knitted too loosely).
