Easy Striped Knits by Barbara G. Walker

Easy Striped Knits

“For the design shown here, very neat bias stripes have been made with the simplest kind of knitting: a plain garter stitch. The piece is ingeniously worked across the diagonal from one corner to the opposite corner and is designed so that the knitter never has to do any purling, counting, or measuring of gauge. Stitch gauge does not matter because the knitter works only from measurements.”
