This is an easy crochet pattern. The ribbon is optional and alternate instructions are given if not using ribbon.

Stitches used are: Dc, hdc, sc, edc (extended double crochet). Note: Extended double crochet is just as tall as a Treble (instructions on how to do this stitch are included in the pattern). If you cannot get the hang of this stitch you can treble instead (extended dc just looks more neat).

No extra materials needed for the brim, with the way I designed it it will shape however you want it and stay in that position.
