The EASYPEASY Skirt Nr. 2 is a close-fitting pencil skirt that is perfectly tailored to your body and measurements—simply by adding stitches as you knit.
First, you determine your waist circumference (the skirt sits at belly-button height), then your hip circumference (the widest point), and the distance between waist and hips.
Using these three measurements, you can look up the exact numbers for the cast-on stitches, increases and their frequency in the tables - precisely graduated in 2-cm (0.75 in) increments.
The skirt is knitted back and forth in rows using only knit stitches, starting at the waist. This allows you to adjust the length individually - from mini to a classic knee-grazing style.
The characteristic back seam is created by sewing together the previously knitted edge stitches along the chain edge.
As a final step, an elastic band is sewn into the waistband for a perfectly adjusted fit. It is not visible from the outside.
As a special detail, you can optional add a buttonhole at the backside to the waistband as a design element.

Der EASYPEASY Skirt Nr. 2 ist ein figurnaher Bleistiftrock, der perfekt auf dich und deine Maße abgestimmt wird – ganz einfach durch entsprechende Zunahmen beim Stricken.
Im ersten Schritt bestimmst du deinen Taillenumfang (der Rock sitzt auf Bauchnabelhöhe), anschließend deinen Hüftumfang (breiteste Stelle) und den Abstand zwischen Taille und Hüfte.
Mit diesen drei Maßen findest du in Tabellen genau die richtigen Angaben für Maschenanschlag, Zunahmen und deren Häufigkeit – fein abgestuft im 2-cm-Raster.
Gestrickt wird der Rock in Reihen ausschließlich mit rechten Maschen, beginnend an der Taille. So kannst du die Länge individuell anpassen – von mini bis klassisch knieumspielend.
Die charakteristische Rückennaht entsteht durch das Zusammennähen entlang der zuvor gestrickten Randmaschen im Kettrand.
Als letzter Schritt wird für den optimal angepassten Sitz oben am Bund ein Gummiband eingenäht. Dieses ist von Außen nicht erkennbar.
Als besonderes Detail kannst du den Bund auf er Rückseite mit einem Knopfloch als Designelement gestalten.
