This pattern includes the instructions for a scarf, a shawl and a wrap in the Ebb and Flow Lace pattern.

The lace stitch used in this scarf and shawl is totally reversible. The pattern of the lace flows from knit to purl and back again; it reminds me of the tide.

The alternating stockinette and reverse stockinette stitch areas cause the fabric to push out and then recede, ebb and flow, as well.

Many yarn companies have a yarn like Baby Kid Extra. Rowan’s Kidsilk Haze and Cascade’s Kid Seta are two examples.

The wrap included in this pattern is worked with Elemental Effects Coastal by Jorstad Artisan Yarns at a different gauge.
