A fun, easy cowl in two versions—one tall, one wide. Each version takes only 100 grams of sock yarn, making it the perfect project for that special color that you just can’t live without!

Materials
100g sock yarn, providing at least 350 yards
US 4 (3.5mm) 16” {32”} circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle

23 stitches = 4” in Echinacea pattern, after blocking

Notes

  • Gauge is not terribly critical to this project, but if you’re making the Tall version and you’re a tight knitter, I would recommend increasing your needle size
  • Samples shown used 2 skeins each of Koigu KPPPM
