Echinoidea is a comfortable reversible scarf that can be buttoned up to be worn as a double cowl, or draped loosely around your shoulders.

YARN
Approximately 550 yards (500 m) of bulky weight wool yarn. Lighter fibers like alpaca or mohair are suggested.
Sample knitted with fingering weight yarn, 4 strands held together (100% mohair; 650 yards (600 m) / 100 g). Shown in hand dyed colorway.

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS

  • Size US 7 (4.5 mm) 10” or 14” straight needles or 32” circular needles
  • Size US 11 (8.0 mm) 10” or 14” straight needles or 32” circular needles
  • Blunt tapestry needle
