Needles:
3.5mm for rib, 5mm for body with 40/80cm / 16/30” cables or dpn’s for sleeves or needles required to meet gauge

Construction:
Worked top down, shoulders are worked flat, neck stitches are cast on and yoke is then joined in the round. Raglan increases are made to the front, back and sleeves to form the yoke until body and sleeves are split. Body is worked with two hem options followed by the sleeves. Collar is added with turtle neck and folded options.

Sizing & Fit:
Measurements given are for the actual garment. Designed to be comfy and oversized, choose a size that is 12.5 - 25.5cm / 5-10” larger than your chest circumference. If you are making the split hem and your hips are wider than your chest, choose a size that is larger than your hip circumference. If intended for a male body, pay close attention to yoke depth and sleeve circ.

Note: Yoke has been graded based on row gauge so if yours is different your yoke may be too small or too big. Yoke is designed to be slightly longer than average for maximum coziness.

Gauge & Yarn:
Choose a yarn that is tightly spun, preferably worsted spun as this will give definition to your cables. It is important to gauge swatch so you can ensure your garment fits and you are happy with the fabric. Wash and block your swatch as the cable pattern relaxes and grows significantly when washed. Gauge may seem a little tight for a worsted weight yarn, this is because the cables make a tighter fabric than stockinette.

Difficulty:
Confident Intermediate. Experience with cables, charts and raglan construction advised.

Techniques:
Working flat/in the round
Compound raglan shaping
4st Cables
Bobbles (optional)
Picking up sts
Reading Charts
