As my daughter is getting older, I am teaching her how to wash her body by herself (I am trying for Montessori since birth) but the soap kept slipping through her little hands. I found the solution by crocheting her a soap saver.
It’s easy and it’s zero waste if you consider that you don’t use any plastic bottles and the carton box the bar of soap comes in can be recycled. So I hope my soap saver crochet pattern will be of use to you!
Since this is made with cotton it will take more time than the synthetic sponges you might have been use to, to dry. My advice is leave it hanging from a hook on your bathroom so that it drains and don’t leave it flat on any surface.
