This lace weight and beaded shawl is created using two very unique stitches. The structure of the shawl is also bit unusual, as it does not require the Kitchener stitch but still is a mirror image on both sides. Both sides of the shawl are worked from the center out.

I think you’ll find it fun to make and to wear. The beads add just enough additional interest as to not overwhelm the look of the shawl. The shawl can be made without beads, although I like their addition.

There are several tips on knitting with beads contained within the pattern.

Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate + (assuming some lace knitting experience)
