An adorable bubbly and ruffled knit for kids, the Effervescent Mini is a child-sized version of the Effervescent Pullover. It is full length, with long sleeves, and features a bubbly leaf and bubble motif to represent strawberry bubble tea.

A delightful optional mohair ruffle tops off the whole thing, just like a sweet and savory whipped cream cheese topping that is popular in the San Gabriel Valley, where the designer is from.

Constructed bottom up, this pattern is a joy to knit and works up in any number of dreamy fingering weight yarns. We recommend a lovely hand-dyed yarn for the same effect, or an affordable alternative like Knitting For Olive’s Merino and Soft Silk Mohair.
