Effortless Yak Rib Pullover is a refined essential designed to highlight the natural drape and softness of fine yak yarn.

This sweater is worked bottom-up. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round to the underarm, then divided and worked flat to create classic set-in sleeves. The construction provides a tailored shoulder line while maintaining the relaxed elasticity of deep ribbing.

The 8×8 rib structure creates vertical definition and fluid movement, making the fabric both structured and supple. The generous rib repeat also enhances the natural stretch of the garment, allowing it to adapt comfortably to different body shapes.

Sleeves are shaped gradually and finished with a traditional sleeve cap for a polished silhouette. The neckline is completed with a folded-length ribbed band, offering a clean, architectural finish.

Because the garment is fully ribbed, it is highly elastic.
Choose a size that allows 5–10 cm (2–4 in) of positive ease at the bust for the intended fit.

This pattern is ideal for lightweight luxury fibers such as yak, cashmere, or merino blends. The fabric blooms beautifully after blocking — gentle blocking is recommended to preserve the rib depth.
