Eggberts are silly little critters and take very little yarn. They’re a great project for an ounce of scrap yarn and a set of US 4 DPNs. They are knit in the round and usually equipped with safety eyes. However, if you ditch the safety eyes and embroider some eyes instead, these make great cat toys! Just make sure you supervise so you cat doesn’t eat the yarn should any cone loose.

Feel free to decorate and accessorize you Eggberts. I like to give some a pair of long ears or a beak and turn them into BunnyBerts or or BirbBerts.
