This super cute eggplant slouchy beanie is really easy to make and is a great starter pattern for confident beginners. You will need to know basic stitches such as chains, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet. You will also need to know how to crochet in round, increase in rounds and very basic yarn sewing.

The pattern includes instructions for child, teen and adult sizes, and instructions to adjust the size further. If you need any help just let me know!

You will need a very small amount of stuffing/fiberfil, a yarn needle, and green and purple yarn. I recommend Red Heart Yarn. I don’t recommend super soft yarn types as these don’t hold their shape as well and become too floppy.
