An alternative to Easter chocolate??? Perish the thought!
Eggwardo the Eggcellent may just take your mind off not having that velvety, gooey, chocolatey goodness…. erm… moving on!!

Eggwardo the Eggcellent is flatigurumi beginner friendly; however, you will need to have a basic understanding of crochet stitches and terminology.

This 9-page crochet pattern contains a detailed description of how to create these Egg Bunnies; with a list of necessary materials, step-by-step instructions and photos to help along the way.

Being a flatigurumi pattern, means this is quick and easy to make.
Eggwardo’s sister, Eggilea, is small, cute and she’s just as eggcited to meet you!

Eggwardo may be shaped like an egg, but he’s approx. 24cm from ear-tips to bottom, and 13cm at widest point, and Eggilea is approx. 19.5cm tall x 11cm wide.

You could add a rattle inside for little Easter enthusiasts.
Make them in all the colours of the rainbow to spread some Easter joy!
Eggwardo or Eggilea would make a fabulous gift or just to add to your own collection.

$5.50 - PDF Download - NOT the actual toy!

  • I used Panda Acrocraft Stripe (Cool Stripe) for Eggwardo, and Panda Acrocraft Stripe (Springtime Stripe) for Eggilea, however, you can use 8ply yarn, just adjust your hook size to accommodate.

  • The pattern is available in English and is written in US terms.

  • You will need a 3.5mm hook to complete them.

  • You will also need; some black/coloured embroidery thread, fibre fill, 32mm cartoon safety eyes, a yarn needle for sewing in ends, a pompom maker and stitch markers (a full list of requirements are within the pattern)
