This is the perfect way to spoil yourself! Use a gorgeously soft wool, alpaca, cashmere, silkblended merino…. for this cozy and generous shortsleeved pullover to wrap up in!
I’m always loooking for timeless and classsic tops to wear with my favourite pair of jeans - and this flattering top has all the elements that I want: it’s figure-flattering, comfortable, feminine, relaxed and so easy to mix as a layering piece with blouses, t-shirts, shirts… And it’s versatile enough to be worn to a skirt or a neat pair of trousers for the office.

The knitting would suit any knitter from advanced beginner to experienced. The gorgeous front cable makes you eager to continue - and the work grows pretty fast on the needles. Worked from the bottom up and in the round up to armpits where work is divided for back and front and continued in separate parts. There is no seaming except for the very short shoulder-seams. Stiches are picked up for the generous cowl as well as for the sleeves.
I used the gorgeously soft alpaca from Ilóyarn to work this top. The alpaca comes in balls of 200meters/100gr. You might substitute it for another wool as long as you respect the gauge. And please keep in mind that the main-pattern of the top is worked in double moss-stich which is a very elastic pattern. For best result (and to spoil yourself!) choose a soft and natural fibre.
The knittinginstructions are in both cm’s and inches. I give you both a chart and row-by-row instructions for the cable.
