Egret Buds Hat
I don’t generally work with white yarn. I don’t know why. It’s so clean and crisp and even the creamier colors are elegant. Even here, though, I couldn’t resist throwing a splash (or stripe of color). Whites are such good canvases for showing off richer colors. Of course, you can crochet this hat in any color scheme you choose, monochrome, or otherwise. This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners and works up quickly in a worsted weight yarn. The Buds are a lacy stitch that will allow the wearer’s head to breathe even on cold days.
