Clever use of elongated stitches in faux cables forms the unique pattern in this worsted weight blanket, designed by Zabeth Loisel Weiner. Geometric shapes using knit-purl textures and the appearance of figure-eights from the faux cable (which does not require a cable needle to work!) give this classic design its name.
