Star measures 4” unblocked, point to point. 8 Diamond-shaped pieces, each picked up from previous one, a parallelogram of sorts. Pattern was adapted from an older 6-point star by Barbara Breiter.

With the variegated yarn colorways of Noro Kureyon and Plymouth Gina, one can get surprisingly new and pleasing looks to a simple star pattern. Not to be used just as a Christmas tree ornament only, but so versatile. Garlands, coasters, appliques are just a few of the many projects the star pattern can be used for.
