This very soft, warm, and yet very light to wear hat will keep you cozy when hill walking, or just walking down the street on a cold morning!
Gently reflecting the distinct and iconic outline of the Eildon Hills in the beautiful Scottish Borders, the various stitches and textures are inspired by the different landscapes that are present on and around the hills, whilst also making for a quick and enjoyable knitting project.

Materials:
1 x 100g skein of Daydream DK by Unwind Yarns, 100% Baby Alpaca Wool (246yds /225m) in Mint Green
3.5mm circular needle (80-100cm if using the Magic Loop technique) or long Double Pointed Needles
3.75mm circular needle (80-100cm if using the Magic Loop technique) or long Double Pointed Needles
4 small stitch markers + 1 optional different stitch marker to mark beginning of the round

Finished Size:
Approximately 20” circumference x 8” deep. Please note that the Alpaca yarn is by nature very stretchy, and the ribbed brim adds to the elasticity of the hat, which fits up to 24” very easily.
If you wish to make a smaller circumference hat, keep to using the 3.5mm needle through the whole project.
