This pattern started out as a desire to dye up some yarn in the intense colors of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve, which is located near the Dead Sea. I decided to go with a geometric design because I felt that it reflected the sharp contrast between the lush softness of the oasis and the harsher landscape of the desert. I think that this cowl is great for showcasing any combination of colors, contrasting or tonal.
