The sock *Eirene* has an elegant pattern with accentuated slanting lacy rows. The pattern is worked from the cuff, across the instep, to the toe. There are two pattern variations for the leg: with single purled stitches, or with purled areas. The pattern is easy to knit.
Instructions for heel and toe are not included; these are worked according to your preference.
The pattern is charted.

Die Socke *Eirene* hat ein elegantes Muster mit betonten, aufeinander zulaufenden Lochreihen. Das Muster wird vom Bündchen über den Oberfuß bis hin zur Spitze gestrickt. Die Anleitung enthält zwei Mustervarianten für den Schaft: mit einzelnen linken Maschen, oder mit Flächen aus linken Maschen.

In der Anleitung werden Ferse und Spitze nicht näher erläutert; diese werden in gewohnter
Arbeitsweise gestrickt.
