Just two skeins of Valley Yarns soft silk-blend Charlemont are plenty to work up this gorgeous shawl. It includes a deep diamond lace border on its widest side, with additional lace stripes interspersed in between garter stripes. In a fingering-weight yarn, this wrap is perfect to take the chill off a spring evening. This shawl is worked from side to side beginning with the longest edge, and uses decrease shaping at one side edge to create an asymmetrical triangle shape. The picot cast-on creates a decorative edge for the deep lace border.
