Elderflower
Like most of my knit patterns, nature plays a huge part in the design. “Elderflower” has little cables that are throughout the design, which was inspired by those beautiful tiny flowers of the Elderberry bush. I knit mine in Prado de Lana’s lovely “Ovejas” yarn line, in the colorway “Saúco”.
This hat is designed with an opening at the top to pull your ponytail or messy bun through. When I am outside on our homestead doing chores, I am always throwing my hair up in a hair tie to get it out of the way, and we all know that when you throw a hat on top of a bun, it can cause a big bulk in it. So, I wanted to design a fun textured hat, where you can pull your hair through and still keep your head nice and toasty.
