Let peace and love blossom around you with this beautiful and versatile motif pattern. Featuring a 6 petal flower in the middle, this pattern includes soft bobbles on the edges to give it a wonderful texture and design. This motif can be used as afghan pieces, coasters, or whatever your heart desires.

This pattern features detailed written instructions with lots of pictures to show you the various stitches used in each round. Additionally, there is a stitch appendix with picture tutorials for the individual special stitches. This pattern is for an intermediate to advanced crocheter. Multiple forms of contact for the designer is also listed at the end of the pattern if you have any questions.

Any brand or color that is Light (3), Medium (4), or Bulky (5) weight can be used to make this pattern. Keep in mind, though, that using varying weights of yarn will affect the final size of your project, such as the overall height, and the amount of yarn needed. Use the recommended hook size on your yarn label to achieve the desired gauge. The amount of yarn needed will depend on the type of yarn and hook size used. Because of the texture and detail of this pattern, it is recommended that you use at least 2 colors.

This pattern is dedicated to my daughter, Eleanor Rose. After nearly two decades of infertility, she was a welcome surprise we celebrated and impatiently waited for. She was born prematurely in February, 2018, at 20 weeks and 5 days gestation and passed away less than an hour later in the loving arms of her father. Her loss was devastating to us and is something that we will always carry with us. I designed this pattern to honor her memory, spread love for her and all angel babies – those born sleeping and those taken too soon. It uses a combination of techniques and contains subtle tributes to her within the design, combining to create a beautiful flower center that blossoms out. I hope the items you make with this pattern will wrap others in love and comfort and peace.
