Elements is a hat that allows you to use the stitch patterns given in the pattern, or you can substitute any stitch patterns you like. It is very flexible. It can be done in many colors or just one.

The pattern includes instructions for both Worsted Weight and Fingering Weight yarns.

Worsted weight yarn: 300 yd. (or 100 yards each of 3 colors.)
or Fingering weight yarn: 450 yd ( or 150 yards of each of 3 colors)
Knitting needle: US7/4.5mm (US3/3.25mm) (You can use dpns, or one long circulars
for magic loop or 2 circular needles.)

Sizes: 22-25in. (For smaller or larger sizes change needle size)
