Elephant is keeping snuggly warm in a cuddly yellow cardigan. This toy is knitted in the round, so this is an ideal project for knitters who dislike seaming. The jacket is knitted flat on single pointed needles.

Double knitting/light worsted weight
100% acrylic

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm (US 4) straight single pointed knitting needles
A set of 3.5mm (US 4) DPNs or circular for magic loop

Toy filling
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
9mm domed black buttons for eyes

Buttons for the cardigan

TECHNIQUES
Work the elephant in the round on a set of DPNs or circulars for magic loop
Work the cardigan flat on single pointed needles (not in the round).
Other techniques include casting on and off, knits and purls, increases and decreases, and a little seaming to finish.
