The Elephant Baby Lovey is made with a combination of Tunisian crochet and of course Amigurumi.
The finished size of the lovey is about 12” by 12”.

For the Tunisian crochet part, you will need a 6 mm Tunisian crochet hook.
For the Amigurumi elephant, you will need a 3.5 mm hook.

Gauge for the Tunisian Crochet Square
10 tks for 10 rows should measure approximately 5 cm by 5 cm (2” by 2”).

Gauge for the Amigurumi Elephant Head
Ch 21.
1. Sc in the second chain from the hook, sc until the end. (20 sts)
2-8. Ch1, turn your work and crochet 1 sc in each st until the end. (20 sts)
You should obtain a rectangle of 8 cm (3.15”) by 3 cm (1.18”).
