My Reindeer Candy Cane Holder was such a hit, I thought I would do a whole line of Candy Cane Holders. So, next up are my Elf Candy Cane Holders! This pattern includes directions for both the girl and boy elf. They each hold two candy canes, that slip in through the arm hole.

PLEASE NOTE: The boots are small enough to be a possible choking hazard to small children. Please omit the boots if small children are around your elves.
This pattern is written using US terminology.

  • Worsted weight yarn (medium 4) - I used 10.5 g (0.37 oz) of Loops & Threads, Impeccable in Cherry for the girl’s hat, skirt, and boots

    • I used 3 g (0.11 oz) of Loops & Threads, Impeccable in Heather for the skin tone
  • I used 4 g (0.14 oz) of Red Heart Super Saver for the girl’s top
  • I used 4.5 g (0.16 oz) Bernat, Premium in Red for the boy’s tunic

    GAUGE

Gauge is not important for this pattern. Just make sure it fits around your candy canes, and that your stitches are tight enough that the stuffing doesn’t show through their heads.
