We are pleased to offer you this new and free slippers pattern designed by Louise-Hélène.

“Inspired by a design written by Micheline Goulet, I designed those slippers for my husband: my sweetheart wanted slippers that are warm, fit well and look pretty! Then I had fun playing with various colours and stitch patterns so now everyone at home have a pair. So, have fun! All the possibilities are good!” - Louise-Hélène

IN ADDITION TO THE FREE KNITTING PATTERN, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS TO KNIT THESE SLIPPERS:

Estelle Chunky (or Bulky weight yarn) : 2 skeins (50% acrylic, 40% wool, 10% nylon - 125 m per 100 g skein).
You can use 1 or 2 colors as you wish ! The darker color could be used for the sole so your Elf won’t go to messy !

On the samples shown, I used the following colours : Pink (Q63388), Blue (Q63386), Cream (Q63301), Beige (Q63389), Green (Q63383),
Gray (Q63391).

Circular needles of 5.5 mm and 6.5 mm. The 6.5 mm will be necessary if you choose to knit the cuff in stranded colorwork.
Tapestry needle
Stitch holder or waste yarn of contrasting color.

GAUGE: 15.5 sts = 10 cm in garter st on 5.5 mm needles.

SIZES: Adult sizes: Small (Medium/Large – X-Large) Finished foot circumference blocked and unstretched: 20 (22 – 24) cm.
