This cute sleeper suit is perfect for the holiday season. I designed it to look like the popular “elf on the shelf”. However, it can be made in any color combinations to create endless themes and looks.

I do suggest a light weight yarn or even sport/DK to obtain gauge as the Universal I used was on the thin side.

Skill Level: advanced beginner
Skills needed: k, p, k2tog, ssk, yo, psso, co, bo, p2tog, kfb, pick up sts

Sizes: newborn, 6-12mos.

Materials
Universal Deluxe Worsted #4 in Christmas Red 260, 500yds and White 40, 80yds
US size 7 4.5 mm circulars AND a set of double-pointed needles
4 Stitch markers
3 Stitch holders or scrap yarn
4 buttons 5/8”
Tapestry needle

Gauge
22 sts x 24 = 4” 10 cm in St st, to save time, take time to check gauge.
