In January I knitted a hat for my nephew Eliot. After posting a picture on Facebook I received a lot of requests for the pattern. I like the look of a knitted ribbed hat, but not the look of the top that comes to a point with some of them. I searched the internet for an idea on how to make a ribbed hat flatter at the crown, but still retain the look of the rib. I did find a great article on how to do this so I incorporated it into the pattern I was writing up for Eliot’s hat.
