Elisabeths happy feet is a sock pattern that really makes me happy!
It is easy to knit, the number of colours you can use is endless and the socks have the little extra. I got the idea from my friend Elisabeth who told me about the old norwegian way to make easy socks.

I have made two versions. One without heel like the old tube socks, and one with heel, a more fiited sock. The tube sock is easy to knit and you can use it on all sides so the sock will last a long time without be worn out.

I have suggested yarn from Norway, the Fjell yarn has a lot of colours to choose. Any sock yarn with about 170 m pr 100 gram / 22 sts pr 10 cm will do. For the smallest size you need 50 gram of colour 1, 100 gram of colour 2 and 50 gram of colour 3. For the larger sizes you need 100 gram of colour 1 and 2 and 50 gram of colour 3.
If you want to make them in only 1 colour, you need 150 gram for the smallest and 200 gram for the larger sizes.

I have used double pointed needles 3,5 mm /US 4.
