This beautiful triangular shawl is first crocheted with loops and picots. Then a border is worked along two sides with double crochets and front post double crochets, followed by a star pattern. This sequence is repeated twice, and finally finished with a delicate picot edge around all three sides.

A color-changing yarn cake works beautifully with this pattern.

Materials:
With colorchanging yarn: 1 skein of Sultan Shadow from Cotton Kings (200 grams equals 800 meters).
Colors shown: Sultan Shadow Black/Blue 04 and Sultan Shadow Black/Curry 12
Bigger shawl in solid color: 100 gr Kid Silk and 200 gr Tencel Bamboo Fine or Baby Merino (thin)

Crochet Hook: 2.5 mm

Measures approximately 170 cm wide, and 90 cm from point to top in colorchanging yarn. Approx.. 200 cm wide and 100 cm from point to bottom in Baby Merino/Tencel Bamboo Fine and Kid Silk

This design is also stunning in solid colors. Worked with 2 strands held together, it makes a bigger and warmer shawl.

Example shown: 4 balls Kid Silk + 4 balls Tencel Bamboo Fine, worked with 2.5 mm hook. Measures approx. 200 cm wide and 100 cm long.
