Knit this colorful and rich in texture wrap for the season,
the new Elix wrap.

First you create a pretty lace border with a thick and thin boucle yarn, followed by a wide horizontal ribbing pattern that gets decreased towards the pretty Seed stitch portion. A simple contrasting garter stitch border finishes your wrap. The decreased section gives you a “collar“ styling option.

The unblocked dimensions: 39.5” overall length, 17“ in middle height and 12“ at skinny edge. An option is given to extend the length in the Seed stitch section with the yardage as shown.

C1- A thick and thin boucle yarn in an aran weight. 20 yards.
C2- Wheely, a cake in a self striping aran weight yarn, 165 yards.
C3- Tubular, a tube yarn in an aran weight. 60 yards a skein.

Notions
US size 9 (5.5 mm) circular needle 20” (51 cm) in length.
US size 13 (9 mm) circular needle 36” (91 cm) in length.
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge
9 sts and 14 rows in 4” of Stockinette stitch.

Techniques applied
Knitting and purling flat, lace knitting, picking up and knitting stitches, color changes, decreasing, binding off, weaving in ends. Blocking is optional, as shown the wrap was left unblocked.
