Thanks to the 1x1 rib that continues throughout the cables, the Elizabethan Neck Warmer is thick, warm, and luxurious. The cabled pattern forms clusters of four, two, and one double cabled columns across the neck warmer. From different angles, different sides to the cabled pattern will be exposed, creating interest and a touch of modernity.

The Elizabethan Neck Warmer is knitted bottom-up. You can either hold aran/worsted+lace weight yarns together, or DK+DK+lace weight yarns together (similar to the sample).

First, we start with a 1x1-ribbed hem. For the body, we work one cabled row after every six rows of 1x1 rib, creating five layers of twists in total. Finally, the top hem is knitted with 1x1 rib to the desired height.
