Elizabeth’s Hat is a free pattern for a fair-isle hat knitted in the round with tree and American Southwest-inspired motifs.

This pattern is recommended for knitters who have done stranded color work before.

This hat is designed to fit people with an adult-sized head. Finished hat measures 7-7.5 in (18-19 cm).

This hat pattern is written to accommodate two different color schemes: the seven-color version as shown in the sample, and a two-color version.

The suggested yarn for this hat is Drops Karisma and/or Drops Lima. The sample was knitted with Drops Karisma Navy Blue 17 (A), Dark Brown Mix (E), and Red 48 (G), and Drops Lima Grey Blue 6235 (B), Goldenrod 2923 (C), Rust 0707m (D), and Green 205m (F). Allow 1/2 skein/25 g for A, and 0.1 skein for B-G.

For the two-color version, suggested yarn is Drops Karisma in Navy Blue 17 (A) and Light Grey 44 (B). Allow 1 skein/50 g for both A and B.
