Elk Ridge Sweater
This is a cozy wool sweater originally designed for my husband based on his photos of elk in Colorado. This sweater pattern is unisex and comes in six sizes. It’s knit bottom up in the round. The colorwork is charted only. German Short Rows are knit below the neck.
SIZING
The intended positive ease is about 8 to 12 cm / 3-5 inches. Below are the measurements of the finished sweater. NOTE: Body and sleeve lengths can be adjusted longer or shorter to your preferences.
XS (S, M, L) XL, 2XL

NEEDLES
- 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles, 40 cm & 80 cm
- 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles, 40 cm & 80 cm - or size needed to obtain gauge
- Double Pointed Needles 3.5 mm (US 4) and 4.5 mm (US 7) - only if you’re NOT using the magic loop technique for the sleeves
- Stitch markers
- Stitch holders or waste yarn
- Tapestry needle
GAUGE
18 sts x 24 rounds = 10 cm (4 inches) in stockinette st on 4.5 mm (US 7) needles
