Inspired by the iconic designs of Orla Kiely, the Elkmont Cowl features a series of eye-catching stranded color work motifs. Abstract depictions of leaves and flowers flow and rotate throughout the cowl finishing off with a series of bold stripes.

The Elkmont Cowl pattern can be purchased alone or in an ebook bundle which includes the Elkmont Hat Trio.

Knitted on one continuous tube and seamed at the end, the Elkmont Cowl uses 5 contrasting colors of Plucky Knitter Luxe Merino Light Sport.

Beginning with a backward loop cast on, the cowl is knitted in one continuous tube.
Once the knitting is complete, the cowl is closed together with a horizontal seam in stockinette, or your preferred seaming method.
