I love a nice floaty cami! This cami has a large gauge (4-6 inches) so it’s nice and loose and doesn’t stick to you when it is hot. For me having neat edges is a must and I discovered a folded hem. I am in LOVE! The hem is also slightly heavier which helps the cami stay in shape! It is knitted bottom up, using a provisional cast on for the hem, then split for the bust where you cast off the back and shape the bust using right and left sided decrease. It is written aimed at an adventurous beginner (or a beginner that can crochet), the trickiest section being the provisional cast on folded hem

The original sample was knitted in Pichinku - Sojta Pima Cotton DK Yarn, It is one of my favourite cotton yarns to use, if on the pricier side. It has 212 metres per skein so for sizes A-D you’ll need 2 skeins, E-J you’ll need 3 skeins. There are other suggestions for yarn at the end of the pattern.

The pattern is knitted for bust sizes 30-60 inches, A-J. Their required yardages for A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J are 300, 330, 360, 390, 420, 450, 480, 510, 540, 570 metres of DK cotton, with gauge 16 stitches by 24 rows gives 4x4 inches knitted on 5mm needles.
